Last Saturday Lewis Taylor had a scan on the knee he injured against the Metropolitan Police last week. The results are very disappointing for the club and particularly for Lewis. He has severely damaged his anterior cruciate ligament and will need an operation. The club has arranged for him to see a top medical consultant tomorrow with reference to having the operation immediately. He is likely to be out for most of this season.

Unfortunately due to a delay in the delivery of the new kit the club have reluctantly decided to defer the launch. They have also postponed the 'meet the manager' session and both events will now be held a week later on Friday 25th July.
