Late this afternoon the club signed Byron Harrison from Stevenage. Byron has committed himself to the Dons for two and a half years. He will bring goals and pace up front and he will be starting on Saturday. He has cost us a record fee but I am sure he will prove to be a great investment for the club."
Well the Jason Euell signing will buy him some more time with the fans, but i find it absurd that we havent kept a clean sheet in 16, we have conceded 46 goals in the league this season and he has only resigned Callumn McNaughton, Terry the boys at the back are not good enough collectively you need to change it up, Sam Hatton has been and never will be a good enough right back at this level! We always can nick a goal, We keep a clean sheet we draw the game, Your in serious trouble Terry, Something needs to change with the back four. FFranks, Bush as a centre Half, or possible change the formation but we are in serious danger now Terry the next 3 games are huge we need 4 points to get the season going again, and get away from the Relegation places, as these young lads, will find the pressure very hard when push comes to shove.

Says it all about your dodgy club - you stole a ground from Kingstonian, don't even play in Wimbledon because Merton don't want you (hence you are franchising in Kingston), but the arse who hacked into Milly Dowler's phone is one of your 'Legends'. The sooner AFC Wimbledon are back in the gutter, the better.
Mark, I believe you have your facts a little mixed up. Kingstonian continue as a football club in part due to our purchase and cheap rent to them. We have a very positive relationship with Merton council and are looking to build a new ground in Merton. The NoW PI Glenn Mulcaire did play for AFC Wimbledon and scored our first official goal, his actions of the pitch are disgusting. I dont consider him a hero, he does have a place in the clubs history howwever.

According to Skysports.com AFC Bournemouth have lodged an improved offer for Steven Gregory.
The club have today announced the signing of centre back Mat Mitchel-King.
Yesterday afternoon AFC Bournemouth made an offer for Steven Gregory. This offer was a long way below the clubs valuation so it was rejected by the board late yesterday afternoon. In subsequent discussions with AFC Bournemouth they made it clear that they will not be increasing their offer and so the club regard the matter as closed.

Very best of luck for next season Dons, and for all the future - you're a magnificent example of where the real ppower in football is - the loyal fans, not the pathetic money grabbing chairmen and the corporate puppets that like to call themselves the FA.
Hopefully you'll soon be back in the top two divisions where you belong, and I guarantee you'll have the backing of almost all true fans in this country. Akk the best from everyone connected with Leeds United.

What a wonderful end to a perfect day!!!! We're coming for you, Franchise SCUM!!!
It's really refreshing reading the comments on here. Being a Northampton fan, the Franchise scum think we hate them because they are our 'local rivals'. The truth is we couldn't care less about them in that respect, we just hate them because of what they stand for. It has nothing to do with geography. Seeing the volume of fans from other clubs on here echoing our feelings makes for nice reading; I just hope some of their plastic fans come on here and see what football really thinks of them.
Good luck for next year. Yesterday's result made my day!
As A Life long Workington fan.Who laid a lot of Ghost's to rest Last year.I would like to say well Done.Good luck for next season.Your Board of Directors, and your Wonderful friendly fans deserve it.Just don't ever change keep your club the way it is.Your the first team after Reds that i will look for from now on.Have a Great season in League 2.Ron

Congratulations Dons ... nice to have "the crazy gang" back in league-football.
Congratulations on such a wonderful achievement. You have proved that there are still some fairytales left in football and have shown just what passion, dedication and hard work can do. I grew up in Raynes Park and saw my first ever game of professional football at Plough Lane and although I follow another London team, Wimbledon and AFC Wimbledon have always had a place in my heart. I wish you all the very best for next season. This is your time, enjoy yourselves and take pride in what you have achieved.

Well done. Pity you both couldnt get promoted today coz Luton got dumped on by the league and you got dumped on by the league and so-called football fan businessmen. So well done. And you have done something a lot of teams havent done. You have won the fa cup. Coz those fakes in MK didnt win it. Well done.

Congrats on promotion, to be in the Football League just 9 years after formation is testament to how well run your club is, a really good story. Hopefully you'll surpass those wasters in MK.
Hope you enjoyed your day at our stadium as well.
I started watching Wimbledon in 1977, so to see them enter the League twice is such a thrill. I've been living in Hong Kong for the last few years and flew in to watch today's game - fantastic ground, and fantastic support from both sets of fans. Take pride everyone - it's your hard work and effort over the last nine years that lead to today.
Just popped on to congratulate you all. Good to see justice done and a fantastic family club and fans proper. Enjoy you're new league adventures
